Are tickets FREE?
Yes, tickets are free and available here. We are asking attendees for a small donation but if you’d like to attend for free, please use the “COMP” option at checkout. Enjoy the show!
Is Juneteenth an all ages event?
Yes, Everyone under 13 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Will I be able to refill water onsite?
Yes. There will be a water refill station provided by Hydro Bar and Didómi.
What’s the parking situation?
There is parking underneath Civic Plaza, in the convention center parking garage, or on the street in designated areas. Please use any of these options.
Can I volunteer?
Yes, we are still looking for volunteers to help with cleanup, our merch tent and more. Please sign up by sending an email to email@example.com
Where is the second stage located?
The second stage will be located on 4th and Central, a 4 min walk from Civic Plaza. There will be live music at the second stage on Saturday ONLY from 12p-6p.
Are attendees allowed to exit and re-enter?
All attendees may exit and re-enter the event freely. Make sure your hand stamp remains visible for re-entry! Go check out the other stage on 4th & Central!
Can I bring outside food and a cooler?
No. We have food vendors onsite for you to enjoy! Please support Black owned businesses.
I have a disability. What are my ADA options?
Civic Plaza is ADA compliant. There is designated ADA parking on-site and a designated ADA viewing area in front of the stage.
Can I bring a camping chair(s)?
Yes. We will have limited seating on a first come first serve basis, so bringing chairs is a great way to make sure you have a seat.
What kids activities will be provided?
Kids corner will feature the Splash Pad (water attraction) and playground located at Civic Plaza. In addition Explora will be providing hands-on engaging and fun STEAM activities on Saturday between 3pm-6pm.
Will alcohol be sold at the Juneteenth event?
No. Alcoholic beverages will not be sold at Juneteenth this year.
What is your drug policy?
No illicit drugs are allowed at Juneteenth.
What other items are prohibited?
Flammable items, fireworks, animals or pets, weapons, illegal drugs and smoking.
Is Juneteenth a rain-or-shine event?
Yes. The show will go on regardless of rain!
What are Juneteenth’s safe space policies?
Juneteenth wants your experience to feel welcoming, inclusive, and physically safe. Everyone is welcome / Harassment is Forbidden: Juneteenth must be positive regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, age or religion. We do not tolerate harassment of attendees, venue staff, or event organizers in any form. If anyone engages in harassment, we retain the right to take any actions we deem appropriate to keep Juneteenth a safe, welcoming, and friendly environment for all participants. This includes expelling the offender from the event with no re-entry. If you experience or witness harassment, or if someone makes you or anyone else feel unsafe or unwelcome, please report it to Juneteenth staff or security as soon as possible. Unacceptable Behaviors: Harassment includes, but is not limited to: Unwelcome sexual attention. Deliberate intimidation, stalking, or following. Inappropriate physical contact. Offensive comments related to gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, age, religion. Participants asked to stop any inappropriate behavior will be expected to comply immediately. Intoxication is not an excuse. Getting Help: If you observe someone violating one of our policies, please speak to event staff or security as soon as you can. We will address the issue immediately. If you don’t feel confident coming to speak to us directly, please send us a DM on our Twitter (@NMJuneteenth) or Instagram (@NMJuneteenth); we will keep these messages confidential and monitor these throughout the event. Anything you tell us will be in confidence. If there’s something you want to bring to our attention after the event you can email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will be happy to help you contact security, law enforcement, support services, or provide other assistance to make you feel safe for the duration of the event.
